Bill Sanderson has illustrated books, magazines, and advertisements, and produced diverse work for many designers for over thirty-five years, all employing scraperboard. His initial editorial commissions were mainly for UK magazines (New Scientist, The Radio Times, etc) and The Times newspaper, but he also had many years of regular drawings for American Esquire. In 2005 he won the V&A Book Cover and Jacket illustration award, with Steve Snider the designer, for ‘The Preservationist’ by David Maine.
Recently he has worked on several books by Felix Dennis, wealthy English entrepreneur and poet, particularly his three collections of verse, titled ’Lone wolf’, ‘A Glass Half Full’, and ‘When Jack Sued Jill –Nursery Rhymes for Modern Times’.
